Dr. Carol Duffy, a microbiologist and virologist, researches viruses in her lab. Making viral transport media-like solutions is a normal part of her research. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of this media, which is needed to preserve samples during transport to testing labs. Working from her lab, Dr. Duffy has created and delivered a batch of 800 viral transport media, toward a goal of 4,000 tubes for DCH Health System.
