Bachelor of Science in Marine Science

The College of Arts and Sciences offers a major in marine science, with students completing the major requirements at The University of Alabama (UA) and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL) in Dauphin Island, AL. Marine Science courses are not currently offered on UA’s Tuscaloosa campus but can be taken during one or more summers or during an in-residence spring semester at the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium (MESC) facility at the DISL. All other courses are taken at UA.
