BioFest is an annual UA Department of Biological Sciences event where we welcome new and returning students with a biology career fair and an undergraduate and graduate student research poster colloquium. This is a great opportunity to meet our faculty, learn about career opportunities in Biological Sciences, and check out the research that our talented and hard-working students are conducting!

If you are a student and would like to present your research, poster presentation titles and authors are due to Catherine Schmandt (ceschmandt@ua.edu) no later than September 25^th at 12:00 pm. Poster set-up will be on September 28^th from 10:30-1 in the Ferguson Center Ballroom.

The department will pay for poster printing! Just contact University Printing to get the exact cost of the poster. Once the amount is known, send an email to bscbudget@ua.edu requesting a DTA that you can bring to University Printing to cover the cost of your poster. At least 24 hours is needed for the DTA to be ready for pickup from the Biological Sciences office.
