The Science Olympiad on February 12 was a great success. Our graduate students and faculty were a credit to our department in this valuable interaction with budding scientists in high cchool and middle school. Special thanks go out to our volunteers, whose efforts were responsible for the high quality of our events:
Sam Perkins and Michael Kendrick – Ecology
Corianne Tatariw and Brittney McInnis – Disease Detectives
Corianne George and Austin Hicks – Ornithology
Jay Antico and Gbenga Doherty – Anatomy and Physiology
Jennifer Edmonds – Microbe Mission
Special thanks also to Julia Stevenson and undergraduate Ryan Dewitz, who provided additional support.
